Le Bistro des Augustins

It's a small bistro in walking distance to St. Michel and Notre Dame. Very local vibe serving the most delicious Au Gratins ever. They had only one vegetarian option, but it was delicious and made my last meal in Paris totally worth it!

La nourriture est incroyable, l'espace pourrait être mieux, mais ce qui rend l'expérience inoubliable, c'est M. Florent. He speaks perfect French, English and Spanish. He is the bartender, barista, server and host at the same time with a great ability and charisma. Is worth to go to a place where you feel how they care about the customer experience.

It was really tasty, the cheese is a highlight! Really cozy atmosphere and only two people working here and they’re doing their job really good. The waiter was really friendly and the music is so cozy. It was surprising, that in the center of Paris you can find such restaurants with the normal prices and not 35€+ for a meal. Absolutely must have to visit

Highly recommend this place place. It's close to the Seine, however there is a street still between. Seating is used to the max, but this gives a friendly atmosphere. The waiters was friendly and the menu was French and English. I recommend going at non-peak hours has it gets crowded quickly. Definitely try their signature dish, it did not disappoint and was filling.

Such a lovely little place with delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly, hard working service. Recommend the cheese gratin (lots of different types) and the cocktails! Great value too. Despite the tiny kitchen, service was fast and friendly. It gets busy though so you might want to book

Lovely experience. Very cutesy and authentic Parsian restaurant by the water. The girl serving was really kind and helpful and spoke excellent English too to help me decide what to order. The cheese gratin is their speciality. I got the duck one. So flavourful and cheesy and just perfect. The crispy cheese layer really took the cake. Really just made my day. Each dish is made fresh (I think) so was about a 10-15 min wait once ordered. Very well managed establishment and highly recommend stopping by. Very hard working crew!

We ordered two gratins that tasted delicious. The location is very good, as you are so close to the Notre Dame’s Cathedral and the price is fair for the food. The only downside in my opinion is that the place is so small that makes it really hard to movement inside and you often need to “fight” with the workers for the space to walk.
